Faith, hope, and love in motion

More than a clothing start-up — a nonprofit mission to share Jesus and serve the community.

Bigger than selling clothes

Not Of This World isn’t just a brand, it’s a mission. This project exists as a nonprofit because our purpose is bigger than selling clothes. We create faith-based apparel to share the message of Jesus, bring His light into everyday life, and be His hands and feet in the community.

Why it matters

Every shirt and hoodie is a step toward something greater — going into the streets, showing love to the hurting, and reminding people there is hope in Christ. When you wear Not Of This World, you join a movement to live out the Gospel and love your neighbour.

How purchases help

Support through apparel and donations helps build a community that uplifts those in need, inspires kindness, and reminds people they are never alone.

Designed to start conversations

Every piece is meant to be seen — bold enough to turn heads, rooted enough to point people back to Christ.

Jonathan Lopez

I founded Not Of This World Project because I wanted to create something that puts faith into action. The name comes from John 17 — followers in the world, but not belonging to it. From a Catholic perspective, that does not mean separating ourselves from the world around us. It means choosing to live differently, with love, compassion, humility, generosity, and a willingness to serve others.

Our goal is to give people a way to take the values we believe in and actually live them out — helping people experiencing homelessness, volunteering with local organizations, collecting donations, and showing up for someone who needs help.

Outside of NOTW, Jonathan is big on football, fitness, and finding the next challenge to take on. He played varsity soccer at Western and semi-professionally with FC London, and he’s working toward completing his first Ironman.
